The wood industry is a significant economic sector in Malaysia. In 2018, RM22 billion was gained from the export of woods and wood products to 160 countries. Particleboard is the intermediate material situated between the raw material and final furniture products. Particleboard is an important material to support the furniture industry in Malaysia to ensure the efficient usage of our wood and biomass resources. This book covers particleboard manufacturing, starting with the raw material selection, adhesive and additives, particleboard evaluation and the market. All of these factors were elaborated in this book to improve the understanding of the particleboard subject.
