This memoir is composed of short stories which reflect the somewhat off-beat life of a U.S. Army military family in the 1980's. In Part I, the narratives detail daily adventures the author shared with her little children at Ft. Devens, Massachusetts. Part II paints intriguing glimpses of their transition to, and subsequent daily lives, in their new home: a tiny remote military enclave at Weierhof, West Germany.
