in Malaysia with special focus on Peninsular Malaysia. The sub-topics
cover the geothermal energy dilemma, current issues and novelty of

defnitions and past attributions on hot springs and geothermal energy
followed by the fow of work used in this book in the third chapter: the
way hot springs were plotted in the geological map, water sampling and
geochemical analysis and the geophysical methods. The forth chapter

and geothermometry results and geophysical data interpretation. This
chapter also discusses the newly discovered hot springs and the origins
