Lost Treasures is a fictional story based on a historical event of the storm that came ashore and destroyed Galveston Island that is located on the Gulf Coast. It is an inspirational story about the great fortitude and courage the island residents had, and although they lived in another time in history, they had to the answer questions of what we treasure if everything would be lost at a moments notice. What would we risk our lives to save, and how would our lives be transformed by fear, horror, doubt, that the storm's fury makes us experience. The story is also about new beginnings, healing and the desire to do so.
