A collection of poems, most of which relate to the authors personal faith. New Testament characters are presented here and shown in moments of human weakness and imperfection. Some verses recount important events in their lives and others dwell simply on Gods love for his creation. One or two familiar saints and sinners make an appearance along the way. Within the collection the main themes are the shortcomings of some of the better known figures associated with the life of Jesus, the power and love of God made visible, both in the natural world and in works of art which have been inspired by religious faith. Miraculous events, the suffering of Christ and the topics of life and death are considered also.
