Fairy Tales & Silly Songs, a companion eBook to the CD/download, consists of playful little stories to read to little people, aged four to eight, tenderly retold with lyrical poems, gentle humor, and, of course, happy endings. The philosophy behind the plays is to eliminate the violence of the original fairy tales while retaining their psychological and emotional power--and adding a few laughs. The philosophy behind the Silly Songs is to have whimsical fun playing with words. Most of the Silly Songs were spontaneously created by Jessica when she was about eight years old, and they retain her child’s humor and, yes, silliness.
